What is decisive, then, is the boat itself. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, selectable as Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it, with an agreed value and settlement with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured as well, as can boats regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude the policy online, above that we assess the individual case. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
