Worth knowing
Marco Plast; cover, cost and conditions
Ten ranges from the Marco 480 to the Marco 920 are on file, built between 1972 and 1989. The smaller models are listed as motor boats, the larger ones as motor yachts. With the trailerable sizes the first question is the trailer, and it is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
Cover applies while in transit, during launching, during craning and in winter storage, with no time window and no night clause. This also covers the time outside the season. For the premium, the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range remain decisive.
Since production ended in 1989, these boats come from the second-hand market today. Before the policy starts we fix an agreed value and pay compensation with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We insure regardless of the place of purchase and previous owners.
