We already know LaserPerformance from our own portfolio: a Bahia and a Laser of this brand are insured there. We do not keep a model catalogue for this yard, and none is needed. What counts for your policy are the details of the individual boat, from the type of boat and the value through to engine power or sail area and cruising range.
Our underwriting is deliberately broad: from the production boat to the small series and the home-built boat, we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Whether your boat comes from large-scale production or is a one-off makes no difference to taking out cover. Under full hull cover the agreed value applies in every case, with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
If you sail with a club, club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff onwards; races with ranking status are declared when you take out the policy. The trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and cover applies during launching and in transit. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Club activity with a Bahia or a Laser is thus covered without an additional contract.

Frequent questions
My LaserPerformance boat has been modified. Is that a problem for the policy?
No, not for LaserPerformance either: Small series and home-built boats can be insured too.
Declare modifications together with their value when taking out the policy,
then they are included in the agreed value and taken into account in the event of a claim.
Are club races with the Laser or the Bahia covered?
For LaserPerformance: Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff onwards.
If you take part in races with ranking status,
declare this when taking out the policy so that cover fits completely.
