A change of insurer often fails because of the effort involved, not because of the will. With us we handle the cancellation of your previous contract free of charge, and the rest is done by concluding online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros. Owners of a Krüger motorboat therefore switch without paperwork and without any interruption of cover.
With 34 documented model ranges the programme is broad: from the Kruger Alfa II, built since 2006, through Beta and Athena to the 6000 family, which has been running since 2017, the motorboats extend to the present day. Whether the boat is new or used, it is insured regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
A Premier II and a Stella 470 are already sailing in our own portfolio. The premium for a Krüger depends on value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand; the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover also applies during launching and on the transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

Are model ranges such as Kruger Alfa II and Kruger Beta II rated differently?
For Krüger: Not because of the name.
Every boat is rated individually according to value, year of construction,
engine power and cruising range; the model range itself is not a premium factor.
