The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range, never on the brand. The area sailed, between inland waters and coast, also has an effect.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, plus winter storage, craning, launching and the transport route. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

How is an M-Cruiser from current production valued?
For Müritz Yacht Management: Through an agreed value that is set when the policy is taken out.

Does it matter where the boat was bought?
