Worth knowing
Qwest; cover, cost and conditions
We have no model ranges on file for Qwest. The type of boat is not established either, which is why we say nothing about it. That is no obstacle to insurance cover, because the premium is based on value, year of construction, cruising range and the size of the respective propulsion, never on the make.
The basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it, the latter with an agreed value and compensation with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Small series and self-built boats can be insured as well, and we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and cover applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and on the transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online.
