With motor yachts the engine output enters the premium, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The Sun 960 and the Sun 1035 were built between 2005 and 2012, and the Sun 33 was built from 1987 to 2009. The brand itself remains irrelevant to the calculation.
The production period of the three ranges thus extends across a good two decades. For older boats as for newer ones we settle an agreed value; the settlement is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit for the boat. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners are no obstacle to acceptance.
Underneath, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros stands as the basis. Added to this are the limited hull cover with fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage as well as the full hull cover with collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.

Why does the engine output count towards the premium?

Is there an age limit in the full hull cover?
