Five model ranges are recorded, all under the designation Aqua Cycle: Original, Plus, II, 15 and 4x4. They have been running continuously since 2018 up to the present day. The data lay down nothing about the type of boat, so we clarify it in the application on the basis of the details of your boat.

In every case the starting point is the third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover supplement it. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out cover online; above that an individual assessment follows.

The cover also applies out of the water: in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the way in transport. A boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. For trips abroad you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.

How is the type of boat of an Aqua Cycle classified?

The data lay down nothing about this. In the application we record the construction type, value, year of construction, propulsion or sail area and cruising range, and the classification follows from that. The brand itself does not count.

Does the trailer have to be insured separately?

No. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. The cover exists at the same time on the way in transport, during launching, during craning and in winter storage.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
