Børresens Bådebyggeri is a Danish boatyard in Vejle. Peter Børresen already ran a yard there, and his sons Børge and Albert built their first Dragon class sloop in 1935. The Dragon became the house speciality, first in pine and later in mahogany. Alongside it the yard turned out 5 Metre and 5.5 Metre yachts, motorboats, dinghies, Nordic Cruisers, LA-Kreuzer, Knarrs, the BB 10 and the Soling. The BB 10 is a Danish one-design that Børge Børresen drew with his son Anders as a quick family racer for club racing and light cruising. The yard built the Soling during the years it was an Olympic class. These are slender keelboats where sailing comes before living space.
