Worth knowing
Gruben; cover, cost and conditions
With sailing boats the sail area takes the place of engine power: the premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never on the brand. For the sailing boats from Gruben Bootsbau this means that only the data of your boat count, not the name on the hull.
Production shows a rare continuity: according to the available data the Trainer has been built since 1962, and ranges such as the Gipsy, the Jeton and the Gruben 17 are still in the programme today. Whether you buy new or take over a used boat, we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
A Gipsy Weekend is already sailing in our own portfolio. If you take part in club races, these are included from the Basis-Plus tariff onwards, and races with scoring status you state when taking out the policy. The boat trailer is also covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

widely.

and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
