With 48 recorded model ranges the programme is broadly based: the Barracuda 50 with the DS, MC and MS variants as well as the Carrera 44, 49 and 55 are listed as sailing yachts built between 1999 and 2006. Yachts like these change hands second-hand today, and then the replacement value is what counts.
Full hull cover therefore works with an agreed value. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and the switching service cancels the previous policy free of charge.
After a purchase, disputes about the condition can arise. Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered as well, including for disputes with a shipyard. Alongside this, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis in every case.
