Worth knowing
Hobbywing; cover, cost and conditions
The engine output is one of the factors the premium is based on, alongside the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range. This also applies to electric sports craft: a Hobbywing E-Foil S1 is already running in our own portfolio, and craft of this kind need no special route with us.
For hull cover, the value of the craft including its equipment counts. In full hull cover we agree a value, indemnification is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), and vandalism and theft of parts are among the perils covered. For this reason, list the accessories in full in the schedule.
Cover also applies during transport and in winter storage; there is no time window and no night clause. The policy can be taken out online, and the international certificate of insurance is automatically available in ten languages. This means the E-Foil is also demonstrably insured at your holiday destination.
