Four motor yachts of the Caribe range were built between 1994 and 2000, the 60, the 72, the 76 and the 80. With yachts of this kind the sum insured can lie above 2.5 million euros. Up to that amount the policy can be taken out online, above it an individual assessment follows.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value, pays with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. In the Premium tariff it applies with no age limit, which counts with years of build from the 1990s.
Production ended in the year 2000. We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners, and when you switch NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. For harbours abroad the international certificate of insurance in ten languages is added.

Frequent questions
Up to what sum can the policy be taken out online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros. If the value lies above that, we assess the case individually. The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis.
Does an age limit apply to a Caribe 76 from 1996?
In the Premium tariff the full hull cover pays with no age limit at the agreed value. We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
