Intermare is an Italian builder of motorboats and motor yachts. Two families shape the range: the compact Vegliatura boats, suited to fishing and short trips, and the motor yachts with a number in the name, many of them with a flybridge. The Intermare 42 Fly, for example, is a planing yacht with an open upper helm above the saloon. The number in a yacht name is close to the length in feet, so the Intermare 30 Cruise measures 9.6 metres and the Intermare 50 15.6 metres, and Fly marks the flybridge version. On the Vegliatura and Maro boats a three digit number gives the length in centimetres, from the 5.5 metre Maro 550 to the 7.2 metre Vegliatura 700 turbo.

Our model records list 19 models, 13 motor yachts and 6 motorboats. Twelve carry the Intermare name, five of them Fly versions and two Cruise versions, alongside the Vegliatura 600, 650 fly and 700 turbo and the Falco 60, Florida 23, Maro 550 and Space 290. These seven smaller boats start in 1993, the Intermare 800 follows from 1995, the 42 Fly from 1997, and most yachts fall between 2000 and 2012. The 30 Cruise had the longest run, from 1999 to 2017. Seven models stay under 8 metres, four sit between 8 and 9.6 metres, five between 11.2 and 12.54 metres and three reach 13.65 metres or more.

The range splits into two kinds of boat. The small Vegliatura, Maro and Falco models can be towed and launched at a slipway for a morning of fishing. The yachts from eleven metres live on a marina berth and cruise the coast, and the flybridge versions need a little more care with canvas and upper helm instruments. Since the youngest recorded build year is 2017, engine hours and service history are worth checking.
