The project was led by the Italian architect Francesco Maria Giulini, who also drew the interior. Naval architect Sergio Cutolo designed the hull, and the yard's own design team shaped the exterior. The idea was a loft on the sea: below deck there are no separate cabins, just one large lounge that flows straight into the cockpit. The stern is open to the water, three steps lead down to the bathing platform, and the foredeck is laid in teak. The glassfibre hull is a planing form with a variable V.
