Maori Future Concept; cover, cost and conditions
Maori Future Concept is the name our records use for the motor yachts of Maori Yachts, a yard in Olbia on the north east coast of Sardinia. Founded in 2007, it builds open motor yachts and tenders with sharp lines, a minimal look and a diamond shaped hull. The Maori 54 Cabrio shows the idea well: at the push of a button the side windows drop and the roof folds into a compartment in the floor, turning a closed saloon into an open lounge within minutes. Up to the Maori 78, the number in each name roughly gives the length in feet.
We list ten Maori designs, all motor yachts: the 30, 36 Limo, 37, 50, 52, 54, 62, 64, 78 and 125. The Maori 30 is the smallest at 9.15 metres and the Maori 78 reaches 23.6 metres, with the 50 at 14.8, the 54 at 16.3 and the 62 and 64 at 18.76 metres each. Seven models start in 2014, the 64 in 2016, the 36 Limo in 2017 and the 125 in 2018. Nine of the ten lines run into the latest build years; only the Maori 62 stops in 2019, replaced by the 64.
The smaller Maoris often work as tenders to a larger yacht, launched from a garage or a davit and used for beach runs and shore trips. The bigger models are day and weekend boats on a fixed berth along the coast. High engine output and a folding roof mechanism mean regular service of drives, seals and hydraulics, ideally before the season starts.

differ widely.
An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.

On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value.
Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
