McConaghy builds racing yachts as well as cruising catamarans from 15 to 23 metres in China using carbon construction. With boats of this size it is worth looking closely at the level chosen.
Alongside the MC50 and MC55 as well as the MC63 and MC75 model ranges there is the Custom racing yacht, which has been built since 1995 and is still in production today. One-off builds and small series can be insured. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows.
If you race, settle this before the start. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and you declare races with ranking status when you take out the policy. Full hull cover also covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts and settles at the agreed value.
