Motor yachts and a sailing yacht stand side by side here, the FM 35 from 1985 to 2000, the Risör 30 from 1990 to 2000 and the Mikkel 1000 from 1990 to 1999. All three are available today only second hand, and for that we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports.
It applies in a dispute after buying a used boat or with a yard. For the boat itself, we insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The full hull cover works with an agreed value and indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Depending on the type of boat, the engine power or the sail area counts towards the premium, plus value, year of construction and cruising range. The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we assess the individual case.

What helps in a dispute after the purchase?
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside. It applies in disputes after buying a used boat or with a yard and supplements third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover.
Do previous owners play a part?
No. We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. What counts for the premium are the boat's data and the cruising range, not its history.
