Radinn from Malmö builds electric jetboards without a foil, boards that glide on the water instead of flying. Achievable speeds are around fifty kilometres per hour, and the drive is electric with a swappable battery.
As with e-foils, the rule is: a motorised watercraft, as a rule not covered by private personal liability insurance. Our tariff for e-foils and jetboards comprises third-party liability and limited hull cover including the battery, which on these devices is the most expensive single item. Bear in mind rules that depend on the waters: where personal watercraft are prohibited, jetboards frequently are as well.
