Worth knowing
Skylla; cover, cost and conditions
Theft of parts hits motorboats where it becomes expensive: at the engine and the equipment. NAMMERT's full hull cover expressly includes theft of parts including the outboard, and in addition vandalism, collision and grounding. For the Skylla motorboats, built since 2014 to the present day, that is the core of the hull cover.
The programme comprises five model ranges from the Skylla 370 to the Skylla 505, and the Skylla 440 was built from 2015 to 2022. A Skylla 450 is already sailing in our own portfolio. The premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the build year, the engine output and the cruising range, not on the brand name.
The basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover applies during launching, during craning, in winter storage and on the transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. You can take out the policy online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros.
