Solar-Sky; cover, cost and conditions
An outboard is quickly unscrewed. That is exactly what full hull cover protects against: theft of parts including the outboard is covered, as are vandalism, collision and grounding. This applies to every Solar-Sky model range, from the Solar 360 Sport to the Solar 530 Conger.
The catalogue lists eighteen model ranges, built since 2013 and continuing today, among them the 360 Fish, 430 Bass F and 450 Congo. The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range; the brand name stays out of the calculation.
A Solar 450 Congo is already running in our own portfolio. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, the cover applies during launching, during craning and in transit, and damage in winter storage is covered by limited hull cover. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. In this way the boat is also protected outside the season.
