At the start and at the end of the season boats are craned or launched, and it is precisely then that many losses occur. The hull insurance therefore applies expressly during craning, during launching, while in transit and in winter storage, without a time window and without a night clause. A boat trailer is moreover covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
For Schöchl Yachtbau 54 model ranges are recorded, among them the Sunbeam sailing yachts from the 22.1 up to the 46.1; several of them are still built today. A Sunbeam 22 and a Manta 19 already sail in our own portfolio. Classification is based on the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range, not on the brand name.
If you sail club races, these are included from the Basis-Plus tariff level onwards; races with scoring status you declare when taking out the policy.
