Schulze; cover, cost and conditions

The Schulze Surfrider 15 V was built over three decades, from 1981 to 2013. Anyone running a boat with an outboard should pay attention to theft protection: our full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard, as well as collision, grounding and vandalism, so the drive is part of the contract too.

The Surfrider 15 V Super is already running in our own portfolio. The range of the brand extended from the Surfrunner 145V to the motor yacht Oceanstar 24 V, built between 1976 and 2013. The following applies to each of these types: the premium follows type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, not the name Schulze.

Limited hull cover insures fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Since many Schulze boats now change owner second hand, the agreed value counts: the agreed value applies bindingly, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

The outboard on my Surfrider is removable. Is it insured nonetheless?

Yes, for Schulze too: Full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard.

State the engine power when taking out cover, as it is one of the factors for the premium.

My Oceanstar 19 V dates from the 1990s. Does the year of construction count against me?

No, not for Schulze either: We insure regardless of the year of construction;

it merely enters the premium as one of several factors.

In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit.
