Motorised inflatable boats such as those from Scanner rarely stay in the water all year round: they are trailered, launched and loaded up again. With us the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and cover applies during launching, during craning and along the entire transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
The catalogue counts 46 model ranges, from the Cosmo 400 Jet Diesel to the Envy range, built since 2004 and up to the present day. Full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard, plus collision, grounding and vandalism. State the engine fitted in the schedule as well.
A Scanner Envy 710 is already running in our own portfolio. The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, and the policy can be taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros. There is no time window and no night clause in the hull insurance.

Does the cover apply when launching a Scanner inflatable boat?
Yes, for Scanner too: launching, craning, the transport route and winter storage are included.

porous fabric after years in the sun is not.
