Sailart; cover, cost and conditions

Forty-two model ranges are listed, and among the documented ranges sailing boats and sailing yachts predominate. The Sailart 17 has been running since 1993, the 20 since 1999, the 24 since 2000, the 18 Sport since 2004, the 22 since 2009 and the 19 since 2013 up to the present day. The Sailart 18 was built from 1991 to 2022, the J 26 from 2000 to 2018 and the 17.5 from 2019 to 2025.

A Sailart 17 is part of our portfolio. One exception in the programme is the Sailart 10 M, a motor boat from 2003 to 2012. The premium and the cover are decided by the type of boat, year of construction, value, engine power and cruising range; the brand itself never enters into the premium. We insure regardless of the year of construction.

If a sailing boat is trailered, the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Cover applies during launching, during craning, in transit and in winter storage. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

Is the trailer covered on the way to the regatta?

For Sailart: The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from

Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value,

and the hull cover applies in transit as well as during launching.

You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

Club races themselves are included from Basis-Plus upwards.

Can a Sailart 18 from the production period up to 2022 still be insured?

Yes, for Sailart too: We insure regardless of year of construction,

place of purchase and previous owners.

The value is agreed as an agreed value and is indemnified in the event of a claim with no

deduction for depreciation.
