Stillo Yachts builds its boats in Giżycko in north-eastern Poland, in the heart of the Masurian lake district. The yard has added a new production hall there and is a member of POLBOAT, the Polish boating industry association. It works closely with Arca Yacht, a charter company that hires out boats from the yard's own production on the Masurian lakes. Beyond the home market, boats go to Germany and Hungary, with a dealer in Hilden. The Stillo 30 is recognisable by its compact superstructure with large windows, a beamy hull and a very shallow draught suited to lakes and canals. Construction is in glassfibre.

Listings give a beam of 3.22 metres and a draught of only 0.55 metres, with two cabins, one bathroom and room for six people. Many Stillo 30s work as charter boats on the Masurian lakes, so a used example may have seen a lot of different crews. Check the hull sides and rubbing strake for damage from locks and pontoons, and look at the bottom, since a draught of 0.55 metres invites the occasional brush with a sandbank. A small diesel is easy to maintain, but the logbook should show regular oil and impeller changes. On electric or hybrid boats the age and condition of the batteries matter most. Large windows are pleasant on a lake and worth checking for leaking seals after a few seasons.
