Stratos is a young Dutch yard founded by Bas Lengers, who comes from the yacht brokerage world as head of Lengers Yachts. His aim was a robust, seaworthy boat in the 50-foot class, built to the standards expected of much larger yachts. The design is by Bernd Weel, with naval architecture by Sea Level. The Dutch Built 50 was unveiled at the Masters Expo in Amsterdam, and its show premiere followed at boot Düsseldorf in 2024. The yard likes to call it an all-terrain vehicle for the water. Look for the tall, angular bow, the enclosed wheelhouse and a large foredeck with sun pads. Construction is a sandwich and carbon composite.
