On these yachts the interior is the block of value that makes water damage expensive. A burst drinking-water line or a leaking deck fitting above the berth hits veneered solid-wood surfaces. We cover this damage under full hull cover if it occurs suddenly, but not in the case of moisture slowly penetrating over months. Check the boat regularly in winter, especially when it lies under the cover.
