Frequent questions
What does CD or cuddy mean in the model name?
It describes a boat with a small sleeping cabin under the foredeck. The layout changes nothing for the premium; what counts is length, engine power, value and cruising area.
Is wakeboarding behind the boat covered?
Only if towing is stated in the policy. Injury to the towed person is then covered as well. Just tell us that you tow and it will be included.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.

On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
