Dusky Marine has built fishing boats in Dania Beach, Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, since 1967. It is a family business that sells factory direct without dealers, and each boat is fitted out to the buyer's specification. The yard says its hulls are hand laid with a generous amount of fibreglass. The model names tell the layout: Open Fisherman for the centre console fishing boat, Fisherman's Cuddy with a small cabin forward, Fish Around Cruiser, Flats and Bay for shallow water, and the suffixes XF and R for variants of the same hull.
