For Element Boats one model range is available, the Element 38 motorboat with years of construction from 2020 to 2025. No further ranges are listed. A narrow or young programme is no obstacle to cover, because with us small series and home-built boats are just as insurable as boats from large-scale series production.
With small numbers in particular there is often no broad second-hand market from which a value could be read off. That is why an agreed value is set in full hull cover; it is stated in the policy and paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation. In the Premium tariff full hull cover also applies with no age limit.
For a motorboat the premium is determined by type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude the policy online; above that an individual assessment follows. A trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover also applies during craning, during launching and in winter storage.

Can boats from small series be covered?
Yes, small series and home-built boats can be insured. Since comparative values may be lacking, the value is recorded in the policy as an agreed value and replaced in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation.
From which sum is online conclusion no longer sufficient?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros everything runs online. If the value is above that, an individual assessment follows in which we value the boat and its equipment separately.
