Goldfish is a Norwegian yard for fast sports boats, tenders and rigid inflatables. It was founded in 1991 by Pål Sollie, a boatbuilder and offshore racer who is still chief designer and owner. According to the boating press, the yard pays close attention to centre of gravity, weight distribution and propeller position. The newer 30 Sport and 38 Sport ride on triple stepped hulls, the Bullet range on a slightly narrower hull of its own, and the X range has military roots and also serves commercial users. The number in the name is roughly the length in feet: the 23 Tender is 7.37 metres, the 38 Supersport 11.81 metres.

A Goldfish is built for speed, so hull, tubes and drive train take real loads. Many tenders travel on the deck or in the garage of a larger yacht and are craned in and out several times a day. Tubes last longer when kept clean and out of strong sun, and a fresh water rinse of the engines after salt water runs is part of the routine.
