For J.Plast the UTH Trimaran with years of construction from 2013 to 2018 is recorded and listed as a trimaran with cabin. No further model range is available. You determine which type of boat is stated in the contract when taking out the policy, because alongside value, year of construction and cruising range it is one of the premium factors.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium forms the basis. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage; full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.
Production ended in 2018. That is irrelevant for taking out the policy, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The agreed value under full hull cover ensures that compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, new for old, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Does the cruising range have to be stated when taking out the policy?
Yes, it is one of the details from which the premium is derived, as are type of boat, value and year of construction. The name of the yard, by contrast, does not enter the calculation.
How is the UTH Trimaran valued in the contract?
Through an agreed value that you agree with NAMMERT. In the event of a claim it is paid with no deduction for depreciation, new for old, and under full hull cover in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
