Jachtbouw Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is based in Makkum, Friesland, on the IJsselmeer. Brothers Ronald and Marko van Enkhuizen started it in 1992 to maintain, repair and fit out yachts, and since 1999 the yard has built complete yachts, now with the second generation on board. Models appear under three names: Enksail for sailing yachts, including the Noordkaper, now called Enksail Noordkaper; Enkcraft for motor yachts such as the Mackum and Statum; and Sossego for long motor yachts over 20 metres. A number may mean feet, as on the Noordkaper 40, or metres, as on the Statum 18.
