Worth knowing
Korad; cover, cost and conditions
This brand offers motor boats and sports boats, but no model ranges are recorded for it. Insured with us are boats of the Cruiser line, an AMS-Skalar 525 and an AMS-Scalar 550. Besides the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power, what counts for the premium above all is the cruising range and its limits.
Inland waters and coastal waters are rated differently in the contract. If you change or extend your cruising area, report this before the season so that the cover matches it. The international certificate of insurance is provided automatically in ten languages and is required in many harbours.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is available in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, works with an agreed value and pays out with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does the premium change when moving from inland waters to the coast?
For Korad: The cruising range is one of the factors alongside type of boat, value,
year of construction and engine power.
You agree an extension to coastal waters in advance so that the scope is established in the event
of a claim.
Is proof of insurance required abroad?
For Korad: In many cruising areas, yes.
You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages,
