Nuvari was born from a partnership across the Atlantic. The American builder Carver Yachts brought in the Italian design studio Nuvolari-Lenard and set up Carver Italia in Fano, on the Adriatic, to build motor yachts for European owners. The brand name Nuvari came out of that work between Carver's engineers and the designers, a blend of both names. The yachts were built in a modern shed in Fano, in small numbers and for the upper end of the market. The Nuvari 63 pairs a long Italian profile and flybridge with the generous interior volume typical of American yachts.
Our model records hold one design from the brand: the Nuvari 63, a motor yacht of 19.2 metres listed with build years from 2000 to 2010. The name gives the length in feet. Below deck there are three double cabins, with the owner's cabin amidships, a VIP cabin forward and a guest cabin with twin berths, plus a separate crew cabin aft. Saloon and dinette sit on two levels with the galley lower down. Power comes from twin MAN inboards. The flybridge and foredeck carry large sunpads, and meals can be taken in the cockpit or up top.

On a Nuvari 63 the twin MAN diesels deserve a proper survey with oil analysis and a sea trial under load, and the shaft lines, stern gear and generator should be checked too. Because only a small number were built, parts specific to the boat may take time to source, so records of past work are valuable. Most of these yachts cruise the Mediterranean in summer and spend winter ashore or in a sheltered marina.
