Worth knowing
Tarrab Yachts; cover, cost and conditions
Listed are the Tarrab 851 with years of construction from 1994 to 2005 and the 751 from 1994 to 2001. Both are motor yachts in which the engine power goes into the premium alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand remains without significance for the calculation.
Anyone taking over such a yacht often brings an existing contract with them. NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge, so that the switch takes place without correspondence of your own. Afterwards, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros stands as the basis in the new contract.
Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with no time window and no night clause. Indemnity is paid according to the agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does the switching service cost anything?
No. NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. You give us the data of the boat and the previous insurer, and we take care of the rest for you.
Are there restrictions on night passages?
The hull cover contains no time window and no night clause. A claim at night is treated like any other, as long as it occurs within the agreed cruising range.

Series by Tarrab Yachts, build years and cover
Tarrab 851 is a motor yacht from Tarrab Yachts, built from 1994 to 2005.
Tarrab 751 is a motor yacht from Tarrab Yachts, built from 1994 to 2001.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
