Worth knowing
Technohull; cover, cost and conditions
Inflatable boats with engines are used with very different engine set-ups, and precisely this engine power is a central premium factor alongside type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range. Technohull has been building inflatable boats with engines since 2010 to the present day; state the power exactly when taking out the policy.
The programme comprises 19 model ranges, from the seaDNA range through Omega 45 and 47 to Explorer 40 and Grand Sport 38. A seaDNA 999 S is already sailing in our own portfolio. Also name permanently fitted equipment in the list, because the sum insured is agreed as an agreed value.
Full hull cover includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Anyone travelling abroad receives the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages; the chosen cruising range should match the actual cruising area, because it enters into the premium.

parts are available and repair costs are predictable.
Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
For the Technohull GTX, Technohull seaDNA 999 S,
Technohull T 9 by Technohull and 9 more series the market value and the replacement cost often
differ widely.
An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
For the Technohull Attitude 35, Technohull Explorer 40,
Technohull Grand Sport 38 by Technohull and further series: On an inflatable the cause decides,
not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not.
The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
