Motor yachts define the picture at Tristan: from the 820 of the eighties through the 260 and 310 ranges to the 345 Flybridge, the construction periods run from 1985 to 2012. New boats are apparently no longer built, and the yachts change owner on the used market. A good contract must therefore cover value and the winter half of the year alike.
A motor yacht spends many months ashore, and craning and storing in particular carry risks. At NAMMERT the cover applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and in transit; the limited hull cover expressly names damage in winter storage. There is no time window and no night clause, the cover simply runs continuously.
A 260 Sedan of this brand already sails in our own portfolio. For older yachts the full hull cover works with an agreed value, pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and has no age limit in the Premium tariff. The premium factors are type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range; the name Tristan is not one of them.

Is a Tristan 315 Flybridge insured while being craned into winter storage?
Yes, for Tristan too: The cover applies during craning, launching,
in transit and in winter storage itself.
Damage in winter storage is expressly one of the perils of the limited hull cover.
Can I get full hull cover with an agreed value for a Tristan from the nineties?
Yes, for Tristan too: The agreed value is set when the policy is taken out and is paid in the
event of a total loss with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit.
