For the application what counts is your information about the boat. The premium and the cover are determined by the type of boat, the year of construction, the value, the engine output and the cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that limit we examine the application in each individual case.
We provide third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. In the full hull cover you agree an agreed value, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation, new for old. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, while the limited hull cover takes on fire, storm, lightning strike and theft.
