Trojan; cover, cost and conditions

For model ranges such as the Express 360, the Express 440 or the 340 MCE from the construction years 1983 to 2005, no up-to-date market value can be used. That is why in full hull cover we agree an agreed value. In the event of a claim it is paid out with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.

Around 60 model ranges are documented, and production has ended. No uniform type of boat is recorded for this brand, so the classification follows solely from the details of the specific boat: type of boat, value, year of construction, propulsion and cruising range. The brand itself never enters into the premium.

Anyone taking over an Express 320 or a 400 SE today is buying second-hand. We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and we cancel the previous policy free of charge through the switching service. Third-party liability forms the basis with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.

How is the value of a Trojan 390 SE determined?

For Trojan: By means of an agreed value fixed when the policy is taken out.

It is reimbursed with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"),

in the Premium tariff without an age limit.

A deduction on account of age therefore does not apply,

irrespective of the number of previous owners.

Are there restrictions on trips in the dark?

No, not for Trojan either: Hull insurance has no time window and no night clause.

Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered by full hull

cover regardless of the time of day.
