Inland lake or coast: the cruising range is one of the details from which the premium is derived. Under Vega, 41 model ranges are recorded, from motorboats of the seventies and eighties to sailing boats that have been built since 2005 and are still built today.
The range extends from the Vega Pioneer through the 525 and 600 to the Balaton 25 and 295. We calculate motorboats via engine power and sailing boats via sail area, in each case together with value, year of construction and cruising range. We have no information assigning the brand to a country.
For trips across the border you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. In the hull cover there is no time window and no night clause, and club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff level onwards.

For the Enter 36 and Plattensee 25 by Vega series the market value and the replacement cost often
differ widely.
An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
For the Vega 525, Vega 450 Tornado,
Vega 600 by Vega and 32 more series there is no list price left.
That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it,
and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
For the Balaton 25, Enter 36, Plattensee 25 by Vega series:
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts:
a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat,
and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For the Balaton 295 by Vega series: On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides.
A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
For the Vega 525, Vega 450 Tornado, Vega 600 by Vega and further series:
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part.
Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
For the Vega 802, Vega Bonanza 800 by Vega series:
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value.
Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
