Therm-o-cal was a Dutch yard building motor yachts. Dutch broker listings name Jachtwerf Therm-o-cal as the builder of motor yachts sold under the Thermoyacht name; beyond that we found no firm details on location, founding or designers. The models follow a simple rule: in our records the number in the name is exactly the length in metres, so the Therm-o-cal 9.0 is 9 metres and the 13.0 is 13 metres. The Thermo Yacht Ocean 40 counts in feet instead, and 40 feet works out at 12.19 metres.
Our records hold twelve entries under eleven names, because the Therm-o-cal 11.0 appears twice. The Therm-o-cal range spans build years 1980 to 1987 and climbs in close steps: 7,0, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 10, 10.5, 11.0, 12.0, 13.0 and 16.0.
