Trimarchi; cover, cost and conditions
Three model ranges are recorded for Trimarchi, the 57S since 2020 and still in production today, as well as the Dylet 85 and the Marg 23 with years of construction from 2020 to 2024. Young boats too spend part of the year ashore, and there our cover continues to apply without any separate notification.
It applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route. Damage in winter storage is already part of limited hull cover, as are fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat. There is no time window and no night clause.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and replaces with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out cover online.

Frequent questions
Does cover also apply during the time ashore?
Yes, in winter storage and on the transport route just as during craning and launching. You do not have to give separate notification of the time spent ashore for this.
Is a yacht from current production rated differently?
The factors remain the same: the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. A more recent year of construction has an effect through the value, not through the brand.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
