Vacance Yachtbouw B.V. is a Dutch motor yacht yard from Sneek in Friesland. It built steel displacement yachts for inland waters and the coast, with inside and outside helm positions and cabins made for long stays aboard. A broker listing for the Vacance Solide 37 AK describes a multi-chine steel hull and names Jan Visser Design as the designer. Two naming schemes help identify them: the four digit Vacance models give roughly the length in centimetres, while the Solide models carry a two digit number plus AK or OK.
