Velvette Marine is a yard from Kazan in Russia, building its boats at a plant near the city on the banks of the Volga. The range spans sporty motorboats, from open bowriders and cuddy cabins to closed salon versions and cabin cruisers, topped by two larger yachts, the 33 Intelligent and the 41 Evolution. Each name combines the boat type, a number and a nickname, such as Cuddy Cabin 24 Euphoria or Sport Cruiser 29 Envy, and the number is close to the length in feet. The Cuddy Cabin 20 Image also comes in a version whose name points to aluminium construction.

All start in 2015; eight reach the latest build years, while the Bowrider 16 Prime ends in 2021 and the Cuddy Cabin 20 Image in 2022. Most Velvettes are young, quick boats for day trips and weekends. Bowriders and cuddy cabins up to about 7.5 metres travel well on a trailer and fit lakes and rivers as much as the coast. Fast boats like the NGT 27 ask for regular engine service and a close eye on the drive. The two larger yachts are marina boats with room for nights aboard.
