Virtue Yachts is a Polish yard set up by Marcin Szygula, Mateusz Drążek and Karol Adamczuk. The boats are built to order in the company's own production halls in Poland, and the range spans sporty day boats and walkaround yachts from just under ten to a little over 13 metres. The hull, though, comes from Sweden: the V10 rides on a Petestep bottom with several concave spray rails fanning out from the keel towards the topsides, plus a pair of horizontal steps. The idea is to throw spray aside, generate lift and cut drag. A reverse-angled bow, deep bulwarks and a T-top with built-in solar panels make the boats easy to pick out.
Our model records hold a single design from the yard, the Virtue V 10, filed as a motor yacht at 9.95 metres with build years from 2020 to 2024. The entry therefore does not run into the most recent build years, although the yard still lists the V10 in three versions: Open, Top and Cabin. The boating press introduced it in spring 2023. On deck there is an aft dinette that turns into a sunpad, an outdoor galley amidships and a second sunpad forward; below sit a double vee berth and a separate heads. Power comes from outboards, single or twin, with electric units also offered.
Living with a stepped hull means keeping the bottom clean. Weed or barnacles on the steps and spray rails spoil exactly the flow the design relies on, so a regular scrub or a season on a lift pays off. Outboards want flushing with fresh water after use in salt water and an annual service of the lower units. On a used V 10, check the T-top mounts and the wiring of the solar panels, look at the gelcoat around the drop-down side coamings and ask for the engine hours and service record. Most of these boats are used as fast day cruisers, so the deck gear sees more wear than the cabin.
