Two cabin catamarans are in the programme, the Aldabra B600 from 2000 to 2008 and the Aldabra B700 from 2000 to 2007. Production lies in the past, these boats are traded second-hand today. With us the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never on the brand.
Whether you are on inland waters or on the coast is determined by the agreed cruising range. A more widely defined area affects the premium, not the scope of cover.
For a twin-hull boat the berth counts just as much as the time ashore. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and on the transport route. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in all three tariff levels.

Does cover for an Aldabra B700 also apply abroad?
The area of validity results from the agreed cruising range, which you define when taking out the policy. You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.
How does the year of construction 2000 affect hull cover?
We insure regardless of the year of construction. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff also without an age limit.
