Two cabin catamarans are on file for us, the Maverick 400 from 2006 to 2013 and the Maverick 440 from 2020 to 2024. Where you travel with such a boat makes a difference in the contract: the cruising range, whether inland or coastal, is one of the factors from which the premium results.
Anyone leaving the coast and entering foreign harbours needs proof of cover. We issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. It is therefore available before anyone asks for it in the harbour office and does not have to be requested separately.
Seven years without production lie between the two ranges, and both build periods are closed. This has no effect on insurability; we accept boats regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners. In full hull cover the agreed value secures the value that has been agreed.
