An open catamaran spends a lot of time ashore, on the trailer and in winter storage. Four model ranges are recorded for Catfish-Catamaran GmbH: CF 14 Fun, CF 14 Kid, CF 16 Club and CF 16 fun, built between 1993 and 1999. The trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.

The cover does not end at the water. Craning, launching and transit are included, and limited hull cover additionally bears damage in winter storage as well as fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the whole boat. In the hull cover there is no time window and no night clause.

Production of these ranges lies in the past, and that is no obstacle to taking out a policy: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis, and club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.

Frequent questions

Does the trailer for a CF 16 Club have to be insured separately?

No, boat trailers are included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Launching, craning and the trip to winter storage are covered as well.

What applies to club races?

From the Basis-Plus tariff upwards, club races are included. Declare races with ranking status when taking out the policy so that they are in the contract from the outset.
